[pymvpa] another way to create bold.nii.gz from analyze

Last winter there was a discussion about how to create bold.nii.gz files. I just found a new way, which is more convenient for me than fslmerge (I usually use spm, windows, and R): the new version of the AnalyzeFMRI R package can handle the conversion.

I used AnalyzeFMRI’s threeDto4D function to convert my series of separate analyze .img/.hdr files to a single 4D analyze .img/.hdr file, then the analyze2nifti function to convert the 4D analyze file to a 4D .nii file, which I then gzip.

I hope this is useful for some of you as well.
