The purpose of the workshop is to bring together researchers working  
in the main areas of Applications in the Medical Domain and the  
Healthcare Domain. The workshop proposes themes like: Medical Decision  
Support Systems, Medical Informatics, Efficient archiving of visual  
medical information, Archiving of biomedical signals, Management of  
large medical databases, Complex Systems, Biostatistics, Artificial  
Intelligence Applied in Medicine, Intelligent Medical Systems. The  
guests are invited to present their recently achieved results,  
exchange ideas and cooperate in a friendly framework.

The Workshop will take place at the "Petru Maior" University of Tg.  
Mures, Romania between the 18th -19th of September 2011. We hope that  
the participants will appreciate the beautiful venue of the workshop  
at the Petru Maior University of Tg. Mures.
