As requested before, please tell us what your operating system reports
as memory consumption just before you attempt to load that data --
important is what amount of memory is actually available to python, not
so much how many chips are built into your machine. Please also provide
some details of your system (OS, 32bit/64bit?).

I have personally loaded data weighing several dozen gigabytes without
problems. Given you have a machine that can handle it, PyMVPA will
handle it too.
