[pkg-fetchmail-maint] Bug#341217: fetchmail gets corrupted attachment from courier-pop

when i get a mail via pop from an courier-pop 0.47-2.backports.org.1
with fetchmail, the file content gets changed.
this is how the file wfx.sta should look:

but thats what i get from it:

notice the double . at the beginning?

first i thought this is a serverproblem, but i tried with thunderbird,
outlook and the bat and there everything is alright.

only old vivanmail shows the same behavior.
