Takeshi,

thanks for your help. A few notes:

1. changes to .po files WILL BE LOST again UNLESS the patches are sent
   officially through the translation project
   (http://translation.sourceforge.net/), that means, the updated
(bugfixed) .po file is sent to the translation project's robot.

Please consider joining the Japanese language team - it basically
means you join a mailing list, get information of new .pot files if
new software versions are (pre-)released, and you send your
translated .po file to the translation-project's robot with a special
   Subject line.

2. fetchmail 6.3.0 will NOT install the Japanese translation unless
someone updates the translation - it's 100 messages or so behind.

3. Please do make sure you configure your mailer properly when sending
attachments next time. Your attachment was labeled ISO-8859-1 when in
fact it was ISO-2022-JP, and the .po file is EUC-JP, which cost me
some time to figure out the encoding. Nevermind.

4. If it is possible without major effort, please use UTF-8 encoding for
   .po files, for consistency.

Kind regards,
