[pkg-fetchmail-maint] Bug#374514: fetchmail: "Deleting fetchids file, " but I don't use POP

fetchmail: Deleting fetchids file.

Why "Deleting fetchids file" every cycle? Doesn't the man page say
that is only for POP, but my fetchmailrc says nothing about POP, I
only use IMAP. Therefore there should be no fetchids fuss in the first
place!?
