please download and merge the patch from the upstream repo at

It should apply against a large number of distributions and rectifies compiler
warnings; more importantly, it avoids outgoing GSSAPI authentication messages
from being malformatted should they happen to contain '%' characters, or crash
fetchmail should they happen to contain string formatting strings.

Please also review and consider adding

<http://gitorious.org/fetchmail/fetchmail/commit/e5510f67f15d893bb476a0db5b2de702129e122c.patch>

which enhances GSS messages in response to bugs such as #568455,
<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=568455> - let's figure what
the quarrel between fetchmail and Exchange 2007 is all about.

Note that the patch DOES NOT FIX 568455, but helps diagnosing the cause.
