Hi,

First of all, thanks for your work on making fetchmail available to the
Debian community!

A recent discussion on the fetchmail-users list ([1] and then [2]) kind
of resulted - all by itself, not my fault, honest! :P - in a quick and
dirty backport of fetchmail-6.3.19-1 to Debian Lenny, now available on
mentors.d.n:

http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/fetchmail/fetchmail_6.3.19-1~bpo50+1.dsc

What do you think about the idea of making a recent version of fetchmail
available to Lenny users, too - so that they may fulfil at least the
very first recommendation given to problem reports on fetchmail-users -
"make sure you're using the latest release"? :) Of course, as you're
the maintainers, it's entirely your call :)

Thanks again for all you're doing, and keep up the great work!

G'luck,
Peter
