We're also caught in the huge gcc5/libstdc++ transition, so are not 
allowed to upload to unstable, but can upload to experimental and have 
Ubuntu sync from there.  (Ubuntu freeze works on upload date, not 
build/migration-from-proposed date, so it doesn't matter that we're 
currently BD-Uninstallable.)

I'll have a look at #793517 and fgdata's new dependencies.

Yes, and source-NEW is often slower than binary-NEW.

(From 3.6, security is meant to be done entirely C++ side, but other 
bugs are still possible.

This would cease to be an issue if the source-only upload infrastructure 
is ever finished (new Debian revisions don't require a new .orig.*, the 
big part is the arch:all binaries), but I don't know if/when that's 
expected.)

Since libfltk1.3-dev 1.3.3-1 switched to using upstream's cmake files 
(https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=792386#10), using it 
from cmake now appears to require libcairo2-dev and fluid, which are not 
hard Depends of the package (presumably because they aren't required 
when using it from autotools/pkg-config).

This causes fgrun 
(https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=793517) and lmms 
(https://reproducible.debian.net/rb-pkg/unstable/amd64/lmms.html) to 
FTBFS; it could also affect gmsh, zynaddsubfx and mathgl.  (yoshimi 
already had these dependencies, and freecad appears to not actually use 
FLTK.)

Adding libcairo2-dev (and fluid, where not already present) as 
build-dependencies should fix this (though I currently can't run a full 
test due to the gcc5 transition).

fgrun already build-depends on fluid; cmake's failure to find it stems
from a mismatch between the current versions of cmake-data's
FindFLTK.cmake and libfltk1.3-dev's FLTKConfig.cmake.  I argue in
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=793549 that cmake-data
should adapt, but haven't heard back from its maintainer.  Meanwhile,
affected packages such as fgrun can work around the issue by explicitly
invoking

    cmake ... -DFLTK_FLUID_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/fluid ...

It's lmms that isn't finding fluid (because it doesn't build-depend on 
it), fgrun is only missing libcairo2-dev.

However, fgrun already bypasses cmake-data with
     find_package(FLTK REQUIRED NO_MODULE)
as recommended in 
https://sources.debian.net/src/fltk1.3/1.3.3-2/README.CMake.txt/#L233 
and required to use FLTK as a shared library; packages that don't may 
well hit #793549 as well.

Does that mean FLTK+cmake users should start build-depending on 
libcairo2-dev (at least fgrun is due a new upstream release soon), or 
that you're hoping to make the cmake file stop doing this?  (Debian 
generally prefers linking to only direct dependencies, 
https://wiki.debian.org/ToolChain/DSOLinking, but I don't know how 
practical this is in this case.)

I'm hoping to fix the cmake files, just don't have time at the moment.

#793517 turned out to be not ours (and is now fixed), but for the new 
flightgear-data dependencies I only got as far as making this list (I 
have _not_ tested whether it actually works with these replacements):

flot - already replaced
jquery - already replaced
jquery-ui-themes-1.11.2 - lots of libjs-jquery-ui-theme-* (appears to be 
user-selectable, so does use them all)
knockout - not in Debian
knockout-jqueryui - *maybe* libjs-jquery-ui
leaflet-0.7.3 - already replaced
pagedown - not in Debian
require - libjs-requirejs + libjs-requirejs-text
sprintf - already in missing-sources (needs lintian override, #787592)
sammy-latest.min.js - not in Debian
