[Pkg-fglrx-devel] Bug#576942: Bug#576942: Bug#576942: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-3-amd64: kernel fix for wrong mtrr mask from MS-7252 bios may be wrong and cause problems with fglrx-driver

ok, i've had a private conversation with Ben. it turns out that any
and all kernel warnings will have a call trace included -- even though
that's overkill and doesn't make any sense.

just to check that it looks reasonable, can you attach your /proc/mtrr
file? also, you may want read up on mtrr a bit more [0],[1].

the thing about this problem is that you have no errors in your log
files, so everything should be working just fine...

have you tried a different monitor?

can you try adding:

  Modes "640x480"

to the "Display" subsection of the "Screen" section?

for completeness sake, can you regenerate your log/conf/startx files
with the latest 10-3~prelease driver and xorg 7.5?
