Hello.
I have question regarding non-free Catalyst ATI/AMD driver.

According to control file package requires xorg-video-abi-10
but according to web page:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.42&lang=English

Automated installer and Display Drivers for X.Org 6.7, 6.8, 6.9, 7.0,
7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, or 7.6

I have tried to install Catalyst using AMD installer on amd64
with current Sid: Linux kernel 3.1 and x.org 1:7.6+9.
Unfortunately it crashes on X start (even during xinit), in
function xs110SetPrivate. Is this caused by mismatching ABI
(whicch means that AMD web pages contains false information
and we need to wait for proper driver from AMD) or is there another
problem?

I am especially interested in ability to install non-free driver
because it supports OpenCL, and I am maintainer of PyOpenCL package
which currently depends only on NVIDIA OpenCL (bug #628702).
