Hi all,

please let's discuss this issue on this merged bug (#809638) only, and
when replying keep everyone Cc:ed who previously reported this issue.

Has anyone tried Linux 4.4.x from experimental? (The module from
fglrx-driver 1:15.9-4 should compile for 4.4)

Is anyone running an i386 system with fglrx? Does the same happen there
with Linux 4.3, too?


Googling for
  "BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at"
and
  "fireglPcsCommand"
unfortunately only yields these Debian bugs, so it seems not to occurr
on other distributions (or the error message is different there).


Thanks to Antonios logfiles, the systemd error message
  "(EE) systemd-logind: failed to get session:
   PID xxx does not belong to any known session"
seems to be a red herring, since it occurs in both the working Linux 4.2
and the broken Linux 4.3 runs.
