one small issue control.in it should be changed "ANSI SQL-99" (the same 
as on site http://firebird.sourceforge.net )

any hints how i can build the package (small howto ?)

I have gunzip-ed the original tar , then patched with debian
changes.

Installed debhelper, all needed packages .
How do i rebuild the package now ?
dh-make
