Aaah you SO right.  I was forgot about IBexpert that it's my own old
customized setup (included yaffil's gds32.dll).  Installing Flamerobin
on clean machine reveals the truth.  Now IBexpert connects from
windows machine to linux FB.  Thank you very much!

Yes i noticed that, but hope it's still compatible with Ya's IB6
dialect.  But it is interesting -- why fb1.5.3 named as fb2 package?
Are you planning to transparently migrate to 2.0 sources when it'll be
released?  Will it be completely backward-compatible?
