I test all that you recomend. Result is that firebird2-common from 
oficial  debian package not work on sparc. firebird2-commnd build be me 
work. I before install version from distro.
Md5 sum my file :
8b915c9e94bf6322c0fe3bf28e7b1bcd  firebird.msg
