Hi!

Probably #535219 was the same issue for this, when we call
/etc/init.d/firebird2.1-{classic,super} without any arguments:

# /etc/init.d/firebird2.1-classic
/etc/init.d/firebird2.1-classic: 55: 1: parameter not set

# /etc/init.d/firebird2.1-super
/etc/init.d/firebird2.1-super: 110: 1: parameter not set
