A workaround is switching renderer to webkit:

$ sudo apt-get install kpart-webkit

To switch: Menu View - View mode - Webkit

and to make it default:

$ keditfiletype text/html
- Tab Embedding: select Webkit and Move it up, then Apply and OK.
