Davide, I use this opportunity: would you mind taking ttf-freefont
over?

I never saw my maintenance as a permanent work. I was expecting Kostas
to take the package back when coming back from the army. However, his
family commitment have prevented him to do so.

Given that this package is closely related to D-I work...and the
ttf-dejavu work, I think it would be consistent to have you mainntain
it.

The upstream is mostly inactive now.....and the BTS is pretty clean,
so the work is not very important. Much much less than ttf-dejavu.
