I can update the package but my understanding was that Pema would be
interested in maintaining it himself (then, I can sponsor the
upload)....so that new version would be a good occasion for this.

Pema, do you feel ready for that? If so, please note that ttf-dzongkha
Debian packaging is maintained in the pkg-fonts SVN repository so you
might need to have access to it.
