I do have an Alioth account (rbrito-guest) and I have already subscribed
to the lists you cited.

I just downloaded the whole fontforge CVS repository and converted it
with git (and that slow, very slow: it took more than 14h), but now I
can run some diagnostic things in the code.

BTW, I am signing this message so that you can check its autenticity
with my key on the Debian Maintainer's keyring.
