[Pkg-fonts-devel] GPL Vietnamese font package available

Hello all :)

I represent your friendly local Vietnamese i18n team, and we have a  
package of fonts which we would dearly love to see released with  
Etch. Our language will be supported for the very first time in this  
Debian release, so this is a big thing for us, as I'm sure you can  
understand.

We have had some difficulty getting our font designers to take on the  
licensing issues, but one  font package has already been licensed  
under the GPL. It's called URWVN [1]. The project admin is a team- 
mate of mine, and happy to work with you to integrate these fonts in  
Debian.

Being based on the URW font package, it inherits the GPL licensing,  
which is specified on its own page [2] (further down, in English) and  
in the COPYING file packaged with the fonts.

Duy's English is good, so he can participate directly in this  
conversation.

I hope you will welcome URWVN to the Debian font package family. :)
