Yes, AFAIK it's intended for use in various languages in the country of 
Myanmar.  The upstream designer is in Uploaders and is part of our team.
Please correct me if needed, Martin :-)

In my description I was referring to the Unicode block for which 
upstream is actually involved in the Unicode proposal itself.

I agree that your proposed solution "font for languages in Myanmar" 
helps reducing the ambiguity between the unicode block, the language and 
the country. I've reflected that in svn.
