Hi George,

We have a bad news from Debian. When running such script:

  Print("Generating Bold Font");
  Open("dkg-handwriting.sfd");
  SetOS2Value("Weight", 700);
  SelectAll();
  SetItalicAngle(0);
  Copy()
  ExpandStroke(50,1,1);
  PasteInto();
  RemoveOverlap();
SetFontNames("DkgHandwriting-Bold","DkgHandwriting","DkgHandwriting-Bold","bold");
  SetTTFName(0x409,2,"Bold")
  Generate("dkgBd.ttf");

Fontforge dies with such messages:

  Generating Bold Font
  The stroke width is so big that the generated path
  may intersect itself in exclam
  FindMatchinHVEdge didn't
  Segmentation fault

Thw .sfd file temporarily is placed there:

I guess, that you will have the reproaches for this font, however
the fontforge shouldn't segfoult. The fontforge-20080330 hasn't this
problem, but the 20080429 and 20080607 versions has.

This bug in debian (#487101 in DBTS) has severity serious,
so that should be fixed for the next Debian release. I hope
you will fix this in the coming version.

Best wishes,
