FF in Debian is dated 20080203. That February 3rd of THIS YEAR.
TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT.

Sorry for being harsh but calling this "cranky" is pretty rude, don't
you think?

Please check your sources before alleging erroneous statements.

And, sorry for being quite pedantic but *even if the FF version in
Debian was dated 2007* that *should not* be considered as "too old and
cranky".

In FLOSS just like in the commercial software industry, backwards
compatibility is counted in *years* not in *days* as some Ubun^W
recent Linux users seem to think.

I know I'll later regret this quite rude message but your mail went on
