Package: ttf-vlgothic
Version: 20080327-1
Severity: important
This way you can see, how poorly this ffont performs, when it is used
for reading Japanese in Hepburn-romanization (hebonshiki roomaji):
You must have some locale that uses UTF-8 and everything else must be
UTF-8-clean. Give this command:
uxterm -fa 'VL Gothic' -fs 12 &
Then give this command in that (u)xterm:
lynx http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepburn_romanization
Whenever there is macron over vowel, you can see just box.
