Thanks a lot for notifying us, Davide. And thanks, of course, for all
the work you invested in these packages.

I hope you'll still have time to work on the package from time to
time. I think we (other pkg-fonts team members) can all work on the
package maintenance as these packages are in fairly good shape anyway.

My only concern is the link with DejaVu font maintainer(s) which you
maintained quite well. Do you think you could at least keep this (that
would leave you involved)?

I would be glad to see someone stepping in as "main" maintainer for
both these packages. It's really a work that is needed and this is a
recognized work. Please feel free to step up.

There are a few things to work on for both, such as the package rename
to fonts-* (which is maybe not trivial given that both packages are
quite widely used) and a few other things. So, really, these are good
packages for people who would like to be more invested in Debian.
