Right, but the splines[1] are stored in the SFD files in cubic type (AKA
PostScript, AKA CFF-OpenType, AKA OTF), the quadratic splines used in
TTF are converted from the cubic ones, and it is a lossy conversion[2].

I bet the vast majority of those (if not all) can use the OTF version
just fine, if not then Debian should keep both.
