Oh, there's quite some serious mumbo-jumbo there, see the patch attached :-)

I am happy if it works in testing, unstable, or even in experimental, i.e.
at least there is a solution.

I attach the patch from the upstream SVN repository.

I have no idea what the changes mean and how they interact with the rest.
I just trust the SVN comments developers left and it works for me.
