[Pkg-fonts-devel] How to change the font package name

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions about how to change the package name of a
font to respect the team name policy.
Feel free to point me to a link if it's already explained somewhere!

The package I'm working with it's gw-fonts-ttf: this source package
provide the binary ttf-georgewilliams which provides this fonts:

Caslon.ttf
Caliban.ttf
Cupola.ttf

According to [1], it should be renamed as fonts-<name> or
fonts-<foundry>-name.
I guess in this case it should be fonts-georgewilliams.

1. Do I have to rename only the source package? Or also the binary? And
in this case: how do I do it, and what is the suggested name?

2. Changing the name of the package means, if I'm not wrong, to also
create a dummy package with the old name in order to provide a gentle
transition. Is it ok to follow "Method 2" in this page [2] or is a
preferred method to do it with fonts?

3. Do I have to change also the repository name? And if so, how do I do
that?

Ok, I think that's all about names :)

Thanks again for your patience, I'm learning a lot from your replies!

Cheers,
Francesca
