I disagree. Good luck ...

The process of builkding and assemblying fonts to proper otf/ttf/pfb
is a non-trivial and non-automated task.

We on TeX Live consider *upstream* (that is what is Up-upstream for
Debian/TeX Live) what is uploaded to CTAN.

Anyway, good luck in your quest .. I have just a few hours ago

Good luck. I expect binary equal font outputs, md5sum/sha256sum
equivalence, please.
