Thanks for your contribution to Debian, please excuse the late reply.
It seams like you already found the fonts packaging policy[1], since
your package respects it. Good work.
Since you want to maintain your package under the umbrella of
pkg-fonts, I suggest to become member of our team on alioth [2] and
upload the package to our git-repository. When your package is ready
for Debian, post a RFS on this list and one of the Debian Developers
in our team will upload it.
Are you using the machine readable copyright format [3]? The copyright
file looks this way, but misses some required fields for this format.
Furthermore the copyright holder is missing (mozilla foundation I
guess). You also want to indicate your Work in the debian/ directory
and add a license to it.
To avoid problems with multiarch, please add “Multi-Arch: foreign” to
the packages control section.
