Looks good but its still not clear how repack was done, Idea is to let
any one else from team who wants to update font follow same steps which
you did so resulting work is similar.

May be you can write a small script and place it under debian/ and tell
how the steps like

1. Run uscan to get the new release from upstream
2. Run debian/repack upstream-tarball to generate repacked version used
  by Debian.

Then the output of repack can be used with gbp to import it to repository.
