[Pkg-fonts-devel] Updated fonts-android has fonts missing

Hi all,

I just updated the fonts-android to 6.0 version latest available from
upstream. But I see lot of fonts are removed especially DroidSans
DroidSerif etc.

Only Droid* fonts in package are DroidSansFallbackFull and
DroidSansFallback and DroidSansMono. All roboto fonts are removed hence
I'm confused now how to update this package as we might need to drop
fonts-roboto from archvie!.

Any one knows what really happened here?. I never followed development
of Android fonts and now I'm confused by these changes.

Roboto is available from different upstream url ¹ but if we intend to
build from source then its not possible at the moment as required tools
are not available in Debian.

Looking for suggestions from fellow font packagers :-).
