Vasudev Kamath, with the help of discussions with other team members
(at least those that are really active, not /me) is currently making
good progress but the work is complicated by licensing issues. He's
trying to clarify in debian/copyright, and be as precise as possible
about the various licenses used by source files for fontforge. From
what I witnedd in the pkg-fonts-devel mailing list, this is really big
work and we're aware that this slows down the packaging of new
versions.

Still, I'm confident that it can be achieved and, anyway, more help in
the team would be very welcomed.
