[Pkg-fonts-devel] Bug#884592: fonts-fantasque-sans: variants use the same name, making them unusable in most programs

Package: fonts-fantasque-sans
Version: 1.7.2~alpha.3~dfsg-1
Severity: normal

Hi!
It's great to see variants (such as sane 'k') included.

However, if you try to access them with a typical GUI program, fonts with
the exact same name+style combination are merged together. This is done to
hide redundant copies (such as OTF vs TTF), but in this case the variants
are inaccessible.

Thus, we'd need to rename them somehow.
