[Pkg-fonts-devel] Packaging a font already provided by texlive?

pretty sure it's the other way round, i.e. please introduce a fonts-fandol
package for the font in question and file a bug report against
texlive-lang-chinese to add this as a dependency for the next revision.

Just have a look at how many dependencies on existing font packages are
already there for the texlive-lang-chinese package:

https://packages.debian.org/sid/texlive-lang-chinese

It are way more for other similar packages like

https://packages.debian.org/sid/texlive-fonts-extra
