My original plan was to transform the pkg-fso 'files' repository [1]
into a proper Debian package, including the files I mentioned early. I
then discussed with Joachim and we came to the conclusion that something
like fso-frameworkd-data would be better for the end-user.

After more thinking, the major problem I see is that some files have
nothing to do with FSO itself, like /etc/pointercal, the udev rules [2]
or the sound files at bug #495668 [3].

The first solution would be:

- source package: fso-files

- binary packages:

  * fso-frameworkd-sounds, a virtual package provided by
    + fso-frameworkd-sounds-nonfree
      Asterisk.sid and notify_message.mp3 (I don't know its license)
    + fso-framworkd-sounds-yue
      free sounds from bug #495668 [3]

  * fso-framworkd-scenarios
    the scenario files now in /usr/share/openmoko/scenarios

  * fso-frameworkd-data
    all the rest (/etc/frameworkd.conf, /etc/pointercal and udev rules)

Obviously, fso-frameworkd will depends on all the three packages.

Another option would be a bit more specific, according to the device.
All the three packages above become virtual packages, provided by
different binary packages, e.g. openmoko-sounds, openmoko-scenarios,
openmoko-data-gta01, openmoko-data-gta02, and so on.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
