Just a small note: I guess this should stay there, because we don't want
to modify $USER files in any package's postinst.

However, this is not necessary: if you've an x-terminal-emulator
installed, this is started in case no other x-session-manager or
x-window-manager are installed [1].

Obviously that on those devices without a physical keyboard having only
a terminal is not the best, but nodm is not restricted to handled
devices ;-)

For the reason above, I think that nodm should at least depends on
x-terminal-emulator (which is a virtual package).
