I wouldn't trust the generated binaries either. However, I feel they
can still be useful in speeding up the modify-recompile-debug cycle
you might have when you try to track down a bug: today I didn't need
to wait two days to see that linux does not compile :-)

Sure. However the simple case where upstream build process generates a
binary during build and then runs it should work with
qemubuilder+distcc combination (unlike what would happen when you do
pure cross-compilation).
