[pkg-fso-maint] Debian kernel CRC error.

This explains all!  The snd-soc-neo1973-gta02-wm8753 module is not
loaded, which is strange.  Try to load it and then check alsamixer.

Since the Debian install.sh script indeed puts that modules into
/etc/modules since the first time the script went to the public (line
522 at [1]), how have you installed Debian?

FWIW, the minimal /etc/modules should be:

# USB RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget
g_ether

# audio
snd-soc-neo1973-gta02-wm8753
