I guessed about that...  If you want just a .dsc then is easier to

  $ dpkg-source -b $PACKAGE_FOLDER

Usually, what you do is to build a full package on your architecture and
then build binary-only packages on other architectures, e.g. with

  $ pbuilder --binary-arch --build $PACKAGE.dsc

It was the first time I saw three different uploads for the same .dsc
and this was quite strange.
