Yes, having a user would be the correct solutions. Roadmap would be
approximately:

 * define a fso system group that’s installed with fso-frameworkd. Exent
fso-frameworkd’s dbus config to allow all members of that group to use
the dbus calls (but not own the dbus names).
 * in install.sh, create a default user and add it to that group
 * Test :-)

So if someone wants to go for it, it shouldn’t be too hard. And I’m sure
Timo will happily give advice when any trouble occcurs.

It might be that some openmoko-panel-plugin features, that do not work
via dbus calls, will not work. This needs some attention.
