Given that Xorg is starting to get usable I don't think patching
Xglamo very good idea in the long run. Is anybody even maintaining it?

Transparently works out-of-the-box with Xorg here. I just installed
xcompmgr and transset (experimental). Then I start xcompmgr, run
transsset and click a window to set it transparent.

Hmm, that'd mean that qwo would only work with one window manager?
