Hi there!

This is mostly related to Debian, but since it contains a user-visible
change I cc:ed the pkg-fso-maint@ and smartphones-userland@ mailing list
so people are aware of this change. Please keep the pkg-fso-maint@
mailing list cc:ed, if you do so there is no need to cc: me :-)

While I started to package xf86-video-glamo [1] for Debian, I cloned the
upstream Git repository [2] and push it to the Debian Git server [3].

[3] http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-fso/xf86-video-glamo_OLD.git;a=summary

I decided to track the upstream master branch and start my work on the
last commit at that time:

  commit 451398a219771e97256649aa4d1ad11de3beb761
Author: Jorge Zapata <turran at openmoko.com>
  Date: Mon Mar 2 09:26:44 2009 +0100

      Normalize spaces and tabs

However, I now cannot find anymore the above commit in the upstream
master branch, while it is indeed present in the dri-aware and
exa-via-dri branches. Is this a known problem or was it my fault?

To solve this issue, I decided to start from the beginning: I will clone
again the "new" upstream master branch and push it to the Debian Git
server [4]. Since I am a bit maniac, I actually decided to keep my old
work, now renamed [3].

I will go on with the work described above on Thursday, May 14th, if no
one complains before.

Thx, bye,
Gismo / Luca
