Notice, that there is effort in providing debian packages by the
enlightenment project itself with their own repository which will be
accessible at [1]. They currently build debian and ubuntu packages from
svn revision 40530 for i386, amd64 and armel.
Packages for debian lenny i386 and amd64 are already uploaded.
I'm the one doing the build of the armel packages on my openmoko gta01
right now, which still takes 1-2 days until compile finished and i can
upload.
An issue that has probably to be discussed on the pkg-e list is, that
the packager quaker66 decided to rename the python packages to
python-efl-* because there already existed a python-epsilon package in
debian.
My main reason for contributing to this was said outdatedness of python
bindings as i very much needed to have the evas textblock bindings that
i wrote as a debian package.
