[pkg-fso-maint] fso: state of packaging?

another weekend and neither new packages nor any information what's
looking into git i see, that something somewhere happens.
but no packages appear.
at least someone has to be using debian with 5.5, hasn't he?
fsousaged still segfaults and i don't really see, if there's anything to
gain from waiting.
could some please line out the order in which to build packages from git
(or tell if it is possible at all to build a working fso in debian
then i would try to build my own packages, hoping to eventually get my fr
up and running again.
and btw, could someone please explain, why new packages are delayed that
much? there have been messages from soem debian robot about adding new
packages and yet, i don't really see progress.
is it simply a matter of manpower?
or is debian's protracted quality management work flow the cause?
it would be really nice to have some clear information about
- the time line
- the causes for delay
to be exactly clear: i'm happy that you guys do all the work with fso on
debian, i appreciate it very much and i don't want to blame anyone or so.
but i simply wonder, what's the hold up, seeing shr releasing packages in
a much shorter intervall.
