[pkg-fso-maint] examples/frameworkd.conf.gz: why are some modules disable=1?

just did a comparison between my frameworkd.conf and the one in examples/  
and am wondering why some modules are set to disable = 1:

[odeviced.audio]
disable = 1

[odeviced.input]
disable = 1

[odeviced.powercontrol_neo]
disable = 1

[ogsmd]
disable = 1
