mh interesting :) Can you paste the result of

dbus-send --print-reply --system --dest=org.freesmartphone.ogsmd
/org/freesmartphone/GSM/Device
org.freesmartphone.GSM.SIM.RetrieveMessage int32:ID_ON_SIM

with ID_ON_SIM being the id of the sms on the SIM card? The second
value should be the telephone number :)
