My first boot attempt(s) result in failure, probably because of something minor:

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(179,1)
(trace: unwind_backtrace, panic, mount_block_root, prepare_namespace,
kernel_init)

I installed the kernel package (+ linux-base which I didn't have), run
the mkimage, and created a symlink uImage.bin -> this created uImage
2.6.39 in /boot. Otherwise I didn't touch anything, and putting the
symlink back to 2.6.34 gets the device working again. Using Qi, single
partition and ext2.
