This is actually quite simple. You just need to copy the *.c files and
then use a makefile that you can steal from e.g.

Yes sure but that can take time so I thought I'd give you an alternative
solution first :-)

The official debian packages do have the module that you need. I'm not
using the same configuration mainly since I know that the config from
SHR is widely tested. Also, the -dbg package would be over a gigabyte if
I enabled all options. We clearly need a better solution here in the
future.
